Manage Your Subscription

Learn how to view, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your GlyphChat subscription.

Viewing Your Current Plan

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click Billing in the sidebar
  3. See your current plan and usage

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Click “Upgrade Plan”
  3. Select your new plan
  4. Confirm payment

Prorated billing: When you upgrade, you’ll only pay the difference for the remaining days in your billing cycle.

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Click “Change Plan”
  3. Select a lower-tier plan
  4. Confirm the change

Note: Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Canceling Your Subscription

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Click “Cancel Subscription”
  3. Confirm cancellation

What happens when you cancel:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period
  • After that, you’ll revert to the Free tier
  • Your conversation history is retained (within Free tier limits)

Before canceling: Consider downgrading to Basic ($1.99/mo) instead of canceling completely.

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Click “Payment Methods”
  3. Add a new card or update existing
  4. Set as default payment method

Billing History

View all past invoices:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Scroll to “Billing History”
  3. Click any invoice to download PDF

Common Questions

When am I billed? Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date you subscribed.

What if my payment fails? We’ll retry for a few days and notify you via email. Update your payment method to avoid service interruption.

Can I get a refund? Contact support within 7 days of a charge for refund requests.
